Enabling better reporting and decision-making

Asset Lab worked with Council to assist them with a review of their asset register.

We worked closely with their asset team to understand the issues with the existing data structure and identify improvements that could be made to enhance operational effectiveness.

This work resulted in a reconfiguration of Council’s data structure to support better reporting and decision making at strategic, management, and operational levels.

Asset Lab also prepared a data management manual for Council’s stormwater drainage assets to document the business rules and responsibilities associated with managing data for this asset class.
